Onassis Scholars’ Association: People

The Onassis Scholar’s Association is a registered organization comprising three bodies: the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee.

The Association is run by a 15-member Board of Directors elected by General Assembly every two years. Special Committees, appointed by the Board of Directors, oversee specific matters, such as the organization of conferences, lectures, and other events.

The General Assembly acts as the Association’s highest authority, while the Audit Committee is charged with checking the Association’s financial management and the Board of Directors’ actions, compiling its findings in reports.

Excellence, leadership, artistic expression and high academic background are some of the characteristics of this multidimensional, yet cohesive human community.
