All events are filmed and photographed. The video footage will remain in the Onassis Stegi's archive and will be available on Stegi's website, channel, and digital platforms for as long as they operate.

STEGI.RADIO, Athens’ international online radio station, returns to Pedion tou Areos, setting up its booth once again in the city’s largest park, in collaboration with the Region of Attica. More than 60 DJs, producers, and musicians set the tone, with electronic music, house, UK club, jazz, funk, soul, experimental sounds, and music from around the world.

One year after “Plásmata 3,” Onassis Stegi’s web radio station returns to the park. For two weeks in June, DJs, selectors, producers, and musicians bring a new rhythm to our evenings through unexpected musical encounters, fresh voices, and sounds from diverse scenes.

This year, the program reaches a new level with STEGI.RADIO’s first collaboration with two of the most exciting web radios on the international scene: Kiosk Radio from Brussels and The Lot Radio from New York.

Joining them is a lineup featuring residents and collaborators, including Aquiles Navarro, known from his work in the free jazz scene and with Irreversible Entanglements; Deena Abdelwahed with her distinctive hybrid blend of club and experimental sounds; RHR bringing Brazilian rhythms, bass, and baile funk; Toribio, whose sets draw on house, jazz, soul, and Afro-Latin influences; and kvadosh, one of the most promising emerging names of the Athenian scene.

The collaborations do not stop there. As part of TMLab, one festival day is curated by the TMLAB Curators, while an entire weekend is dedicated to African Voices, featuring talks, dance, live performances—including Sisso & Maiko—and DJ sets by artists such as Jyoty, Awesome Tapes from Africa, and Coco Maria.

STEGI.RADIO: Live from the Park builds on last year’s highly successful presence of STEGI.RADIO in the park, as part of Onassis Stegi’s digital exhibition Plásmata 3, which was embraced by thousands of visitors and turned Pedion tou Areos into a vibrant site of music experience in the heart of the city.

Onassis Stegi has a strong and sustained presence in public space, with hundreds of cultural projects and events across Athens. At Pedion tou Areos, always free of charge and open to all, with respect for the park and the people who use it, Onassis Stegi has presented a large part of Fast Forward Festival 5 in 2018, the exhibition You and AI: Through the Algorithmic Lens in 2021, Plásmata: Bodies, Dreams, and Data in 2022, and Plásmata 3 in 2025. In 2023, continuing its series of interventions in public space, the Onassis Foundation brought new life to Pedion tou Areos by planting more than 3,700 new plants and trees, reconstructing the water route and regenerating the area known as the Aríes.

STEGI.RADIO: Live from the Park celebrates public space as a place of coexistence and shared life, culture as part of the city and our everyday experience, and the park as a place of listening, participation and collective encounter, with environmental awareness and care for its natural and public character. With a limited duration, temporary infrastructure and provisions for the park’s smooth operation, the event remains focused on its core purpose: music, free access and a cultural experience in the park.

As always, with care and respect for the park’s natural environment and its visitors, Onassis Stegi will ensure the site is fully restored after the event. From Pedion tou Areos, STEGI.RADIO: Live from the Park brings Athens into tune with sounds from around the world, through a music festival that brings us together.

It’s not just another music festival. It’s Athens in summer, tuned to an open frequency.
