Fatim Berthe

Fatim Berthe began dancing in Kangaba, in the Mandé region of Mali. From a young age, she participated in the ballets of her father, Mao Khalifa Berthe, a master of the djembe, gaining her first stage experiences.

She later taught in her place of origin, where students from around the world traveled to study dance and djembe. Since 2000, she has lived and worked in France, where she continues her teaching and artistic activities related to the music and dance practices of the Mandé region.
