Sofia Stergiou
By now, Sofia Stergiou has quietly carved out a singular voice in Athens’ electronic music landscape. As a long-time resident of STEGI.RADIO, her show “Fondly Treated” has grown into a listening spot—a carefully carved-out space for the freakier strains of IDM, electro, and mutant bass.
Her sets stand out not just for what she plays, but how she plays it: off-kilter yet fluid, her selections glide between the hypnotic and the jarring with instinctual ease.
Now in her fifth year with STEGI.RADIO, she’s honed a sound that resists easy categorization—a palette that’s as playful as it is pointed, full of grainy textures, melted percussion, and flashes of strange melody. It’s this sense of warped elegance that’s earned her a growing circle of devoted heads across dancefloors and airwaves alike.
