Toribio is a Dominican-American musician, producer, and DJ devoted to creating transformative sonic experiences that move both body and spirit. A lifelong student of rhythm, he weaves jazz, soul, house, and Afro-Latin sounds into seamless journeys that honor the healing power of music and collective movement.
As bandleader, vocalist, and key instrumentalist of the live house fusion band Conclave, he earned critical acclaim with a debut album named one of Resident Advisor’s best in 2021 and praised by ‘Rolling Stone’ and ‘The New Yorker.’ His work as a DJ and producer has taken him to stages from Boiler Room and Glastonbury to clubs in Mexico City, Berlin, and Tokyo, with his productions earning support from legends like Gilles Peterson and Theo Parrish, and remixes from Louie Vega and Joe Claussell.
This foundation in musical mastery now informs his work as a sonic healer and community builder. Through Brooklyn block parties (Public Service NYC), his imprint B.D.A., and deep listening experiences like Sala Sessions, Toribio creates spaces where music becomes medicine—where careful curation and intentional soundscapes guide others into presence, connection, and embodied healing.
