Theater & Dance Residencies

Over the course of this collaboration, several projects that were initiated within the residency went on to take shape on stage at Onassis Stegi and tour both in Greece and internationally, including works such as “MAMI” by Mario Banushi, “My Fierce Ignorant Step” by Christos Papadopoulos, “IT’S THE END OF THE AMUSEMENT PHASE” by Chara Kotsali, and “FÁE” by Efthimios Moschopoulos, among others.

Through the yearly Onassis AiR Open Call, directors, choreographers, dancers, dramaturgs, authors, playwrights, and other practitioners in the wider fields of theater and dance arts are invited to submit proposals for developing new theater, dance, or performing arts projects that have not yet been presented.

Participants in this program have access to capacity-building activities, personalized mentoring, peer-to-peer feedback sessions, and opportunities to share in-progress work with the Onassis AiR community, the Onassis Culture curatorial team, mentors, and other collaborators across the organization.
