Dramaturgy Fellowships
In 2023, Onassis AiR launched the Dramaturgy Fellowships in collaboration with the Dramaturgy Department of Onassis Stegi, aiming to support the research and development of new performance-based work.
Through the yearly Onassis AiR Open Call, we invite directors, choreographers, dancers, dramaturgs, authors, playwrights, or practitioners working in the broader fields of theater and dance arts to submit their proposals for the research and development of a new theater, dance, and/or performing arts project that has not yet been presented.
The program offers space and time for creators to conduct research or expand parts of their work, without the immediate pressure of production; it is always a joy to see pieces that brew during the residency to eventually come to life on stage at Onassis Stegi and tour both in Greece and internationally.
