Technical Residencies

Following its first edition, the strand continues in 2026–27 through an Open Call addressed to art professionals working in the technical fields of theater, dance, music, cinema, and digital or hybrid productions. The program is intended for those who wish to further develop their skills in Stage Management, Production and Line Production, Lighting, Sound, or Video Engineering, as well as in the cross-disciplinary technical processes of projects at the intersection of Art and Advanced technologies.

Technical Residencies are designed for those with foundational professional knowledge in their field who want to refine their technical skills in a dynamic, interdisciplinary creative environment.

The residency offers hands-on involvement in the production workflows of Onassis Stegi, Onassis AiR, and Onassis ONX, in collaboration and under the guidance of experienced staff members.

Participants in this strand contribute to projects developed by the Onassis AiR Fellows, including their Open Days presentations, while also supporting the seasonal programming of Onassis Culture.

For the 2026–27 season, the Onassis AiR Fellows selected for the Technical Residencies are: Ourania Bobori, Xenia Kalantzi, and Dimitris Matsoukas (Technical Residencies at Onassis Stegi), and Ilektra Babicha-Ninou (Technical Residencies at Onassis ONX).
