Natalia Manta

Natalia Manta is an artist based in Athens. While clay serves as her primary medium, she also adeptly navigates metal, wax, light-sensitive chemicals, and video. Collaborating across various artistic disciplines has been an integral part of her practice. From 2017 to 2020, she taught sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts, the same university where she holds a BFA and an MFA. In the last 10 years, she has co-organized and curated, with Jannis Anastasakis, the audio-visual live improvisation session “Sound of Color” at the TV Control Center (KET) in Athens. Her work has been part of numerous exhibitions, making appearances at prestigious institutions and galleries. She was honored with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship by ARTWORKS in 2022. She has been selected to stay and produce part of her work in several art residencies around the world. Her creations find homes both in private and public collections.
