Description

The ongoing series “UNDER OUR BONES” explores hybrid forms using mixed materials such as ceramic, glass, aluminum, and wax. These sculptures emerge from an investigation into an otherworldly aesthetic—one that oscillates between science fiction and biology, forming a kind of sci-fi archaeology of the future.

From the central “Mother” form, smaller entities emanate—indeterminate embryos that evoke the morphology of eggs and the concept of gestation within a womb, a living body, or a cocoon. The sculptural forms suggest curves, fluidity, and delicacy while also incorporating elements that resemble bones, phytomorphic details, and mechanical components.

All structures are vertebral and assembled, forming a new anatomy—like joints in a human body. Their details are composed through precise contrasts, frozen in space and time as if crystallized. The soft welcomes the hard, and the hollow embraces the sharp in a condition of fragile coexistence.
