“Cybermorphic” is a 2D hand-drawn exploration game. Players shape the transformation of a cyborg navigating the labyrinth of its own hybrid machine brain. Through visual puzzles and symbolic exploration, the game invites players of all backgrounds into a personal, emotional journey.

In a futuristic world inhabited by cyborgs, we follow one that stands out from the rest: a cyborg with glitches that prevent it from communicating properly. Cyborgs typically connect to one another with a cable to exchange information, but whenever our protagonist attempts this link, it causes malfunctions in the others. Desperate for a solution, the cyborg decides to repair itself by plugging a cable into its head, entering its own mind to fix its core system. Traveling through its internal mental landscape, the protagonist makes its way towards self-acceptance.

During the residency, Crespi Nozawa will also work on “Metamo in Dissonance”, a transdisciplinary performance created by her and Lucie Göckel. In their work, the two artists explore the mechanisms of cognitive dissonance, identifying it as the focal point of our personal and collective contradictions.

Metamo is a drawn character. He comes to life in front of the audience’s eyes in a laboratory where two operators construct his environment, guide his choices, and observe his reactions. Throughout his journey of discovery, he encounters various situations that put his convictions to the test.

Through this story, the work explores the mechanisms of cognitive dissonance: that state of tension arising when our actions conflict with our convictions. Blending drawing, cello, vocals, physical theater, object theater, animation, computer-generated sound, and video projection, the performance creates a space where reality and illusion constantly interact.
