L’Abri is a center dedicated to emerging artistic creation, supporting young artists across the performing, visual, literary, sound, and digital arts, design, and other creative practices. Each year, around twelve local associated artists join L’Abri, gaining access to workspaces, a vibrant professional network, artistic encounters, and opportunities for collaboration with regional and international partners. Its residency program includes long-term in-house residencies for associated artists, as well as exchanges with partner institutions abroad.
L’Abri fosters experimentation, artistic development, and visibility, providing tailored support to resident artists in areas including artistic development, dramaturgy, production, technical needs, networking, and local engagement. The team actively connects international and local artists, linking them to L’Abri’s networks, cultural partner institutions, and a wider community of around one hundred associated artists. While residencies carry no formal output requirements, artists are encouraged to share their work and research with the community of associated artists at the end of their residency.
