Information

General Info

Tickets for the first and second day of the STEGI.RADIO Takeover are daily. They secure admission to the Onassis Stegi building and are valid for all events of that day, subject to availability.

Since the multiple stages and spaces’ capacities vary, admission to the events will be on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to the availability of each stage or space at the time of attendance.

Filming and photography

All events are filmed and photographed. By purchasing a ticket, the members of the audience consent to be filmed and photographed.

The video footage will remain in the Onassis Stegi's archive and will be available on Stegi's website, channel, and digital platforms for as long as they operate.

Tickets for the Masterclasses

The tickets for the Masterclasses at Galaxy Studio will be available soon.

Between cabaret, rap, and dabke, the Onassis Stegi building is filled with color and life through live improvisations, futuristic bass with DJ sets and live performances, and a masterclass by Pau Cristóful, member of the Primavera Festival’s programming team.

Photo: Pinelopi Gerasimou

The Main Stage explodes with the hybrid, frenzied cabaret show of La Famille Maraboutage from France; the sweeping rap of MC Yallah from Uganda, performing together with producer Debmaster; the ecstatic dabke from Syria by Omar Souleyman; and the danceable, improvisational sounds of ZōNTAZōA (the newly formed band of Coti K.) and Deftera.

At the same time, the Upper Stage transforms into a warm, dimly lit, atmospheric room with live performances by Melentini & The Running Blue Orchestra, olina, and Corniza, three distinct, diverse expressions of the alternative Athenian independent sound.

On level –1, the future of dance music takes center stage. World-renowned headliner DJ Jyoty and Bill Kouligas, founder of the multidisciplinary platform PAN, present the most cutting-edge dance sounds. Up-and-coming talents from Greece and Romania, kvadosh and Miss Jay, merge bass and percussion to create unexpected rhythms in an explosive b2b, while ASTYTEKK and Jeph Vanger craft their own unique build-up for the night.

At the +3 foyer, legendary radio producer Giannis Petridis selects tracks from his vast collection, while the duo Rootswise sets the tone for relaxation with dub and reggae deep cuts, and Terra Exotica brings yet another eclectic, genre-defying DJ set.

A masterclass straight from the Primavera Festival

Behind the Onassis Stegi building, at Galaxy Studio, Pau Cristóful, member of the Primavera Festival programming team, leads the masterclass “From DIY scenes to major festivals: Evolving curatorial narratives and practices,” guiding curators and anyone interested in organizing major festivals and events through the ways they can navigate and advance within Europe’s music industry.

MAIN STAGE

La Famille Maraboutage

Maraboutage presents “Indigo, le Cabaret Club,” a 3.0 show that blends several artistic disciplines. This new hybrid show combines dance, set design, performance, live acts, costumes, and DJ sets, not forgetting the collective’s signature wiggle and on-stage interaction with the audience.

The aim is simple: to create a total Maraboutage, a cross-disciplinary experience, a two-way therapy that benefits both givers and receivers. The Indigo Maraboutage cabaret sets the stage alight with the most beautiful spells, inviting the audience to connect with their own sacred self.

For these magical ceremonies to exist, Maraboutage takes on a manifesto of celebration and the defense of a ‘safe space’ that cares for all, rejecting intolerance. If for the public it is a space for free dance, for the collective it is a space for expression and research through different mediums of the performing arts.

MC Yallah & Debmaster

Yallah Gudencia Mbidde, aka MC Yallah, has been rapping in the East African hip-hop scene since the late 1990s. Born and raised in Uganda and of Kenyan descent, she burst onto the international scene when audiences experienced her silky, tight flow and incredible live performances as part of the touring Nyege Nyege crew. Since 2018, she has collaborated with French producer Debmaster, whose high-intensity productions are a perfect fit for MC Yallah’s unbounded lyricism.

MC Yallah’s impeccable vocals are grounded by Debmaster’s immense productions, which blend trap, techno, and grime to create a futuristic, singular sound. Together, live, MC Yallah and Debmaster bring this collaboration to a new level.

Omar Souleyman

Omar Souleyman, who has collaborated with Björk and Four Tet, began his career as a prolific wedding singer, releasing nearly 500 live albums before civil war broke out in his native Syria in 2011. He then moved to Turkey and in 2013 released his Four Tet-produced debut studio album “Wenu Wenu” via Ribbon/Domino, which NPR called “a jam so visceral, thrilling, and intense as to make the mysterious matter of earthly borders seem hardly worth the time to contemplate.”

His 2015 sophomore album “Bahdeni Nami” (various producers including Four Tet, Gilles Peterson, and Modeselektor) garnered widespread critical praise as well as his two Mad Decent releases, 2017’s “To Syria, With Love” and 2019’s “Shlon,” placing Omar Souleyman firmly in the canon of global electronic music.

Souleyman has bolstered his growing status as a world and electronic music icon, establishing an extensive international following after touring widely and performing at major festivals including Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Pitchfork Paris, and Roskilde. In 2013, he performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Norway.

ZōNTAZōA

ZōNTAZōA began rehearsing in 2023 in order to explore rhythm, (maxi-)minimalism, primal repetition, and improvisation. They often joke that they are a dance band, which also happens to be true.

Deftera

Deftera is Chris Scott (Το κορίτσι κοιμάται, Amka, Dark Willow) and Giorgos Athanasiou (Mufatsa, Colour for a Rebel, also Το κορίτσι κοιμάται). They used to meet every Monday to improvise songs as a kind of musical diary. Through this process, Deftera has released 16 albums through Bandcamp. They released their record “GIANT HITS” on February 6th, 2025, available on physical CD, Bandcamp, and Spotify; their single “Yes U Can” was released with a music video-marathon-jump-rope workout video. One of them prefers playing loud songs, and the other prefers playing quiet songs. Try to guess which is which!

Foteini Korre

Foteini Korre is a multidisciplinary artist, architect, and engineer with a main focus on spatial approaches to the intangible. Physically based in Athens. Rarely afk.

UPPER STAGE

Melentini & The Running Blue Orchestra

Melentini is a musician, performer, songwriter, and composer for films based in Berlin and Athens. Since the release of her debut album, “Explosions Around, The Desert Inside,” in 2013, she has established herself as a notable presence in the contemporary Greek music scene. Together with a trio of prominent musicians, the Running Blue Orchestra, she has performed select live shows in Greece and other countries.

Her unique voice and lyrical prowess have helped make several of her Greek-language songs hits, establishing her as one of the most recognizable figures in the Greek independent scene.

Melentini has been expressing herself across a wide range of musical genres for almost two decades. Her works combine melancholic, contemporary, ambient, avant-garde, and synthwave elements, often pulsating with rhythmic grooves and danceable beats. Her voice, cryptic, rich, and distinctive, bears traces of Greek and Balkan folk traditions, which deeply shape her melodic aesthetic.

Corniza

Corniza (aka Krystalia Theodorou) is a composer, pianist, and theater scholar who has been active on the Athenian music scene since 2015.

She moves in a minimalist, rhythmic, and frequent universe where narrative, myth, and experimentation harmonize with the frequencies her synths emit. Her sound connects dub with pop through simple forms that build an atmosphere of ritual and dance.

At Takeover 2026, she will present new material as well as reworked versions of her songs with vocals drenched in reverb and a dance-oriented mood.

olina

olina is an indie pop musician, songwriter, and performer from Athens who creates dreamy melodies with Greek lyrics. Since 2021, she has been releasing music through Mellowsophy Music, has collaborated with renowned indie artists such as Nalyssa Green and Turboflow 3000, and has performed with her band at festivals and concert venues in Athens and across the country. Following her first EP, “CATS ON CBD,” she will soon release her album “What moved you?” which she will present live for the first time with a full band at Onassis Stegi.

-1

Jyoty

Considered by many as being at the forefront of her own movement, Jyotyhas become a trailblazer in dance music globally. From her beginnings in radio—now eight years on London’s Rinse FM—to headlining festivals and hosting sold-out stages around the world, Jyoty’s inimitable skill as a DJ, musical selector, curator, and interviewer has won her a following world over.

In just a few years, Jyoty has become a force in the industry in her own right. From the release of her first remix to sold-out headline tours in Europe, Australia, and North America and to being requested by the likes of Burberry, Jacquemus, GANNI, and Prada to lead various musical experiences, Jyoty is proving herself as someone who is showing no signs of slowing down, and most definitely doesn’t wish to be seen as any one particular thing. Jyoty is here to represent good music and isn’t setting limits on how she does that.

Bill Kouligas

Bill Kouligas is a Berlin-based artist, designer, and musician, known as the founder of the multidisciplinary platform and record label PAN, which he has curated and art-directed for the past twelve years. Over the past decade, he has managed to create an ecosystem that recalibrates perceptions of forward-thinking sound practices. In his artistic practice, Kouligas draws inspiration from diverse sources, traditions, and various subcultures. He adapts those sources and relates them to contemporary life through evolving experimentation with different media in multidimensional works that span sound, visual, and performance.

His solo work as well as his vision with the label show a remarkable ability in pushing the boundaries of musical genres to undiscovered territories, which members of the global press (Frieze, Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, NPR, BBC, The Guardian, Red Bull Radio, MixMag, FACT Magazine, Flash Art, Kaleidoscope, and more) have rewarded with consistent appreciation.

kvadosh

kvadosh is an Athens-based producer and DJ navigating diverse sonic terrains. Her work blends raw, folkloric elements with contemporary electronic frameworks—especially low-end-heavy, percussion-driven rhythms—reimagined through club-oriented structures. Her sets fuse experimental club, Latin club, and vibrant, obscure electronics with Mediterranean undertones, often mixing the familiar with the unexpected.

She has performed across a range of events in Greece, from underground club nights and experimental gatherings to larger festivals, with notable appearances such as the Nature Loves Courage Festival in Sougia, Crete in June 2025.

In 2024, she released her debut EP, “Quad,” via Tunisian netlabel Mrama Division, and has contributed tracks to various compilations, expanding her sonic footprint. She is also a resident at STEGI.RADIO.

Miss Jay

Miss Jay is a Romanian DJ and producer based in Milan, originally from Bucharest. Her musical path began in the underground hardcore metal scene, later evolving into electronic music, a transition that continues to shape her unique, genre-fluid identity. Her sets and productions are driven by constant experimentation, merging emotional depth with club-ready energy, and often leaning into the raw, shapeshifting nature of deconstructed club. Her music has been released on respected labels such as International Chrome, Warp Records, and ec2a.

Jeph Vanger

Jeph Vanger (b. 1989, Athens) is a sound artist, composer, and DJ working across performing arts, sound system culture, and sound installations. His DJ sets fuse high-energy, rhythm-driven styles—including baile funk, gqom, grime, and ballroom—layered with sharp percussion and Middle Eastern influences, all driven by his deep passion for low-end frequencies.

Following the release of his EP “Cyclothymia,” his work has drawn comparisons to Floating Points, Four Tet, Sega Bodega, Oklou, and Hildur Guðnadóttir, as noted by “Resident Advisor.” His composition and sonic installation work has been supported by Arts Council England, Help Musicians UK, and ARTWORKS. In 2021, he served as Composer in Residence at EMS Elektronmusikstudion in Stockholm, further developing his focus on composition, multi-channel sound and the physical, spatial dimensions of audio.

Jeph has collaborated with choreographers and directors, including Chara Kotsali, Mario Banushi, and Christos Papadopoulos. Their works featuring his music have been presented internationally in New York, Taipei, Bogotá, and Montreal, to name a few.

ASTYTEKK

ASTYTEKK is an Athens-based producer, DJ, and sound engineer whose trajectory began in the late 1990s with the trance group Cherouvim and developed further through the experimental collective Sone Urbia (Urbanoise), presenting releases and live works across festivals, exhibitions, and independent spaces in Greece and abroad.

In 2011, he founded the label Lower Parts, which became a key platform for contemporary electronic music, hosting influential artists such as DJ Stingray 313, Terrence Dixon, and Andreas Gehm. During the same period, he was active as a promoter, bringing to Athens acts like Egyptian Lover, DJ Assault, Detroit in Effect, Locked Club, and I-f, expanding the city’s underground electronic club network.

From 2018 to 2023, he focused on his personal project ASTYTEKK, performing at clubs and festivals across Europe and releasing material that merges ghettotech, electro, acid, bass, and deconstructed club approaches. Tracks such as “Lick My Bass,” “Child’s Ghetto Play,” “Fuckitsuckitworkit,” and “LAMBO” established his distinct style within this spectrum.

Since 2020, he has been working professionally in mixing and mastering for artists and labels, while also designing and leading electronic music production workshops through the Athenian platform xfutrhug. He is a resident at STEGI.RADIO as part of the Pitch Listening Session—A Safe Spacetime program.

FOYER 4 PINK

Giannis Petridis

Giannis Petridis was born in Athens and is one of the earliest music producers in Greece. In 1978, he and Kostas Zougris created the magazine “Pop & Rock,” which covered all musical developments, mainly foreign music, until 1998, when he left.

He has collaborated with major Greek newspapers, such as “Mesimvrini” and “Eleftherotypia,” as well as the magazine “Epikera” in its original form.

He owns one of the largest private music collections in the world, and his knowledge spans many musical genres. He has dedicated his life to music and managed to acquire voting rights in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which were obtained by the Onassis Foundation.

Rootswise

Rootswise is one of YouTube’s most representative active channels when it comes to reggae from the 60s, 70s, and early 80s.

It is formed by RootsSweetness and Kossmo (members of Take Over Sound System from Valladolid, Spain).

Around 2012, they began uploading their collection of original records, focusing mainly on 70s roots rock reggae with small touches of soul, ska, rocksteady, rub-a-dub, and everything current with those vibes.

During the pandemic, they began broadcasting live sessions called “Roots Massives,” which were very well received and reached millions of views.

Their goal is to share music, knowledge, message, and feelings so that these musical styles, which are not very present in today’s reggae culture and sound systems, do not fall into oblivion and can reach as many people as possible, both inside and outside this movement.

Terra Exotica

Chrysostomos Lazarides is always seeking to satisfy his musical tastes. With one ear tuned to the present and the other toward the past, his selections span decades of recordings across oodles of styles. Chrysostomos has been invited to DJ at notable spots such as Salon des Amateurs, King George, Acephale, and Meakusma. You’ll find his mixes on ΝΤS, Intergalactic FM, LyL Radio, and Test FM.
