Onassis Stegi

Onassis Stegi fosters international collaborations and is the place where the boundaries between science, art, society, education, and politics are redefined. Its building is characterized by an all-white, rectangular, light shell that, via the unveiling of its horizontal marble strips form, reveals the volume of the main building with its two stages and additional spaces. Since December 2010, the Onassis Stegi has hosted theatrical, dance, music, film, visual arts, and digital performances, but its activities have spread around Athens, down to the city center, and around the world. The local becomes global, and the global becomes local.
