Chryssa Kotoula
Chryssa Kotoula is an artist, designer, and the founder of ‘Matters of Concern,’ a creative studio primarily focused on material research, particularly in contemporary ceramic creation. Through her practice, she reimagines reclaimed matter as a valuable resource, forging new chains of value and transforming artifacts into carriers of history. Chryssa Kotoula is a graduate of the Sculpture, Glass, and Ceramics Department of LUCA School of Arts (BE) and the School of Visual and Applied Arts of the AUTh (GR). Her works have been shortlisted for the Officine Saffi Foundation Biennial Prize 2024 (IT), where she was awarded the Officine Saffi Special Prize, and the European Ceramic Context 2024 Triennial (DK), among others.
Chryssa Kotoula is a participant of the Onassis AiR Extended Research Residencies program for 2025/26.
