Despina Charitonidi | death of a star, birth of a cell
Photo, courtesy the artist
Iron becomes:
A shield in the core of the earth.
A skeleton in a building.
A pigment in my clay.
A cofactor in my blood.
A stressor in my cell.
Same protons.
Same electron orbitals.
Different systems.
Distractions and creations.
Highly charged mammals.
As an artist pretending to be God, even if my world is dying, I keep producing, just like cancer.
