Introduction

The “strange” musical experience continues with undiminished intensity. The second day of “Strange” includes psychedelic noise from up-and-coming Greek producers.

Eerie sounds, industrial noises, and microdoses of electronic psychedelia. A unique lineup curated by KOKETAMC lands at Stegi’s –1 to create an ecstatic night of release and catharsis: the subversive duo of Krats with their experimental electronic sounds meets the sometimes “cute” and sometimes “nasty” music of Tanjie Kay and the audiovisual rave dystopias of FlökosH. The night ends with producer and DJ Georgios Anyfantis with his side project, Cobra Spiritual, luring us into strange and hypnotic industrial soundscapes.

Curated by: KOKETAMC

Lydia Chatzi is a producer, DJ, and visual multitasker living in Athens. She releases music as KOKETAMC and Zevla and is the other half of the psy/rock band NOOR1. She runs the label Zela Archives.

Presented by: EvelinaEgw

EvelinaEgw, aka Evelina Evangelia Stoltidou, was born in Thessaloniki, hailing from Pontus. She is 25 years old. In the last two years, she has been living and working in Athens as a freelance producer in the fashion, music, and art industries, and an event curator and casting director.

FlökosH

Krats

In a world that wants us to be digital, binary, and accurate, let us be analog, resistive, and chaotic. Krats, an industrial noisy sonic attack! A blend of meditating drones, sonic tsunamis, and aggressive rhythmic patterns. The radical duo was formed in 2019 as part of Crete’s DIY experimental electronic music scene. They have participated in many events at DIY venues throughout the country, offering a unique improvisational sonic experience each time.

Tanjie Kay

Tanjie Kay is based in Athens. She produces music with a focus on the sonic equilibrium between cuteness and nastiness.

FlökosH

FlökosH is a visual and sound multimedia explorer, producer, and DJ based mainly in Athens. Flokxy loves to blend sonic styles from different eras, moods, and textures that get highlighted in his DJ-sets and productions while drawing influences from themes such as video games and dreams, street art, and fashion. Through his passion for the inevitable coexistence of nature and technology, his main output is a blender of different genres, styles, and moods and the organic merge of new hybridized mutations for and from our digital data-driven age.

Cobra Spiritual

Cobra Spiritual is an experimental noise side project of Georgios Anyfantis (aka ANFS). Trash TV aesthetics, internet spiritual culture, religious themes, and weird industrial electronics are combined in order to satirize the sacred (and non-sacred) internal contrasts and explore the space between them.
