Book signing

Gillian Anderson will sign a limited number of books after the event, on Saturday, January 16. Availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

Gillian Anderson

Gillian Anderson is an award-winning actor whose career spans film, television, and theater. She became an international star as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in "The X-Files", a role that earned her a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe. Since then, she has taken on a remarkable range of characters, including Stella Gibson in "The Fall", Margaret Thatcher in "The Crown", Jean Milburn in "Sex Education", and journalist Emily Maitlis in "Scoop".

Her work has earned two Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes, four Actor Awards, and an Evening Standard Theatre Award. In 2016, she was appointed an honorary OBE for services to drama.

Alongside acting, Gillian is an author and advocate whose work explores women’s experiences, identity, sexuality, and desire. Her books include "Want" and "More". She is also a Global Ambassador for War Child, supporting the organization’s work to protect, educate, and advocate for children affected by conflict.

At Onassis Stegi, her retrospective conversation is accompanied by a program (14–16.01.2027) featuring some of the most memorable films and series in which she has appeared, including "The X-Files", "The Last King of Scotland", "Sex Education" and "The Crown", alongside more recent work "Animals".
