Yuk Law
Yuk Law is the Medical Director of Heart Failure & Transplant at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Professor of Pediatrics at University of Washington School of Medicine. He is trained in pediatric cardiology from the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, after finishing a research fellowship at Yale University Immunobiology under the Pediatric Scientist Development Program. His interests span from therapy in heart failure in children with cardiomyopathy and congenital heart disease to heart transplantation, with an emphasis on antibody mediated injury and immunophenotyping of very young recipients. He has served as chair of committees at the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplant and the American Heart Association. He has also served on scientific and steering committees for the Pediatric Heart Transplant Study registry and coauthored several scientific statements in the fields of heart failure and transplant for the American Heart Association.
