A new meeting point is being set for innovation, best practices, and future trends in the realm of transplantation. The Onassis Foundation, under the scientific auspices of the Hellenic Transplant Organization and the cooperation of specialized bodies such as the Hellenic Society of Organ Transplantation, the European Society for Organ Transplantation, and the DTI Foundation, among others, launches the organization of two annual Transplant Masterclasses – one online and one in physical form – for healthcare professionals who operate in the field of organ donation and transplantation, but also in general for anyone interested in furthering their scientific knowledge in this field.
Technological innovations and scientific research in the field of transplantation come in a fascinating encounter with human stories and life experiences. The Transplant Masterclasses aim to become one of the main pillars of the National Initiative being assumed by the Onassis Foundation for the development of transplantations in our country, with the construction of the Onassis National Transplant Center (ONTRC) lying in the core of the initiative.
The two initial Transplant Masterclasses – one online and one in physical form – will take place on 7 November and 16-18 December 2022 respectively.
