Sarah Rothberg
Sarah Rothberg
Sarah Rothberg is an interactive media artist and educator, creating playful, poetic, and usually a bit weird experiences that invite audiences to reconsider their relationship to the world around them. Rothberg’s work engages with the impact of new technologies and communication tools, taking many forms—ranging from installations and performances to software, video, writing, workshops, and experiments with technology.
Rothberg is an Assistant Arts Professor at NYU (Interactive Telecommunications Program / Interactive Media Arts), a member of Onassis ONX Studio, and part of the collaboratives MORE&MORE UNLIMITED, which offers experiences for imagining changed worlds, and IS THIS THING ON?, an artist-driven livestreaming collective. Rothberg’s work has been supported by organizations such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Moving Image, Apple, bitforms gallery, MTA Arts & Design, and the Jerome Hill Foundation.
