Explore state-of-the-art practices in all things circular, through a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions and showcases of innovative materials and practices. Read more about the first day of Circular Cultures: Design, Fashion, Crafts.

Introducing sustainable design, innovation and new materials for the emerging circular economy, looking at: new directions for natural and synthetics and mixed materials; how the archive enables us to see the future by looking closely at the past; new models for creative ventures, production and manufacture, social and business; and what changes lie ahead for people as we move into more circular contexts – the designers, businesses, educators, users, policy-makers who will all play a role.

A drinks reception will follow the Talks program, as well as the Tactile Circular Pop Up! Showcase, a tactile and interactive textiles and materials tabletop installation which includes work by the conference’s guest speakers.

Parallel Video Art Exhibition “Earth Chronicles”
In the context of the conference we are presenting the exhibition “Earth Chronicles,” a series of videos from Polyeco Contemporary Art Initiative’s (PCAI) collection, curated by Kika Kyriakakou, Artistic Director, PCAI Residency.
