Lana Daher

Lana Daher is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Beirut. She studied filmmaking at Goldsmiths, University of London, and fine arts and graphic design at the American University of Beirut. Her work moves across image, sound, and archival practices, exploring the boundaries between documentary and fiction.

Her debut feature, “Do You Love Me”, is an essay film composed from Lebanon’s fragmented audiovisual history. It premiered at the 82nd Venice Film Festival and has screened at international festivals including IDFA, SXSW, CPH:DOX, and MoMA’s New Directors/New Films. It received the Best International Documentary award at DocPoint Helsinki and the Political Film Award at Hamburg Film Festival. Alongside the film, she developed a companion website (doyouloveme.film) that archives the materials and sources behind the project.

Lana Daher is an Onassis AiR Fellow for 2026/27.
