Konstantina Kotzamani

Konstantina Kotzamani is a graduate of the Film School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has gained international recognition for her short films, which have premiered at major festivals, such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, and Locarno. Her films have won numerous awards and have been screened in Europe, Asia, and the U.S., as well as on platforms such as Criterion and MUBI.

She has been honored three times with the Best Short Film Award from the Hellenic Film Academy and once with the Best Screenplay Award for the film “Arcadia,” directed by Yorgos Zois. She has been nominated twice for the European Film Academy’s (EFA) Best European Short Film Award, and her film, “Electric Swan,” was named Best Short Film of the Year by the French Film Critics Association.

Her first feature film, “Titanic Ocean,” had its world premiere in the official competition section ‘Un Certain Regard’ at the Cannes Film Festival.

Her films explore primordial themes such as love and dreams, mystery and the surreal in life, all the while creating alternative realities.
