Gregor Kuschmirz
Gregor Kuschmirz (b. Stuttgart, 1978) frequently explores in his work the impact of social and technological developments on our perception of identity and our scope for action. His ideas find artistic expression primarily through interactive and kinetic installations, videos, performances, and conceptual works. Gregor Kuschmirz is a graduate of Film Academy Baden-Württemberg and Munich University of Applied Sciences. In addition to Germany, he has worked as an artist and educator primarily in Italy, Egypt, and Austria. His works have been exhibited internationally on numerous occasions, including Centre Pompidou in Paris, Shanghai Art Museum, La Casa Encendida in Madrid, and Frankfurter Kunstverein. He currently lives in Ravensburg and teaches as a professor of transmedia storytelling at Furtwangen University.
