Cutlery Rain Maker

The installation explores the pursuit of order and the often-chaotic course of events, particularly in the context of family gatherings. Arranged in orderly rows, one hundred small magnets move slowly up and down above a festively set table. Again and again, they lift the cutlery and drop it, clattering onto plates and glasses. In this way, the inviting table transforms into a field of debris made of broken porcelain and shards of glass.
