Dr. de Ville de Goyet
Graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain (Brussels, Belgium) in 1980 and trained in surgery, paediatric surgery and transplantation at the Cliniques St Luc (Brussels, Belgium) and Hôpital des Enfants Malades (Paris, France).
Clinical and academic posts were successively hold at Brussels paediatric liver transplantation center (Prof Otte), at the pediatric liver unit in Birmingham Children’s Hospital (Prof Kelly), at Cliniques St Luc Brussels as Head of Abdominal Surgery and Transplantation, at the Bambino Gesu Children’s Hospital in Rome as Head of Pediatric Surgery Department, and – currently- at Ismett in Palermo, Sicily, as head of pediatric department. Research interests in the field of pediatric liver transplantation and extrahepatic portal hypertension.
