In “Tectonic Riders,” Gousi’s first Art Film, which was presented at Plásmata in May of 2025, the question was: On what soil will we be buried if the dead begin to return?

The second part, “Speak, Little Wings,” poses a new and equally urgent question: What do we save in a catastrophe?

We are taken to another part of Greece during the same period. There, a group of young girls has taken on the task of guarding an isolated flock of birds, the last animal species left on Earth.

The film focuses on the fragile and often invisible condition of caring within a landscape of collapse. It explores the relationship between collective memory, the need for continuity, and the moral and emotional choices that arise when points of reference fall apart.

Similar to part one, and retaining common narrative techniques, “Speak, Little Wings” adopts a poetic and metaphysical approach, centering on the climate crisis, female identity, and the silent forms of resistance that emerge when everything seems to be lost.
