Synopsis
A Palestinian pirate captain traveling on her ghost ship through the centuries, rescuing shipwrecked people, and boarding imperial vessels to reclaim looted colonial artifacts; a merchant bound for the 1900 Paris Exposition having encounters with ghostly figures that share insight into a future he has yet to see; a film connecting cherished objects from Palestine with personal life stories. Larissa Sansour’s and Søren Lind’s “A Sunken Tale of Losses Delayed” challenges our perceptions of physical space, temporality, objects, history, and all their interconnections.
