Una Película De Miedo (A Scary Movie)

During the vacations, a documentary filmmaker and his 12-year-old son stay in an abandoned hotel in Lisbon: an empty hotel like the one in the movie “The Shining.” The boy is haunted by monsters and ghost stories. But during their stay in Lisbon, other ghosts emerge: that of the first Portuguese serial killer and that of men who suddenly go berserk and abandon their families.

Madrid-based filmmaker of Brazilian origin, Sergio Oksman heads up Dok Films productions and teaches documentary filmmaking at ECAM. His most recent films include “O Futebol,” screened in the official competition of the Locarno Film Festival.
