Synopsis

Living and loving at the age of 18, immersing yourself in the carefree spirit of summer, suddenly losing your best friend, realising that nothing lasts forever, and meeting people who have a profound impact on you – the kind who help you grow.

Director biography

Born in Montpellier in 1980, Émilie Aussel studied at the École des Beaux-Arts to focus on video art and the creation of art installations. In 2009, she decided to turn her hand to fiction filmmaking with her first short film “L'Ignorance Invincible.” The film was followed by three other shorts, which attracted attention at various international festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand and Rotterdam. “L’Été l’Éternité” is her first feature film.
