Bio
Phoebe Greenwood is a British-Australian writer and journalist based in London. Her first novel, “Vulture” (Europa Editions, 2025), is a dark satire of the war news industry, drawing on her experience reporting from Palestine. It was a New York Times Editors’ Choice and was named a Book of the Year by NPR and The Economist.
She is currently working on her second novel, “Manminded”, a contemporary reimagining of “Oresteia” set between Greece, London, and Australia.
Phoebe Greenwood is an Onassis AiR Fellow for 2025/26.
