Marion Lasserre

Marion Lasserre is a new media artist based in Paris. Her work explores the entanglements between data-driven technologies, the human body, and society. Working across installation, film, and immersive environments, she develops sensory frameworks that examine how technological infrastructures shape perception, embodiment, and identity. Her practice is grounded in interdisciplinary research and scientific collaboration, operating at the intersection of computation and material experience. More recently, her research has turned toward material cybernetics, slowness, and feedback systems that use the body as an activating condition rather than a source of data extraction. Her work has been presented at events and institutions including the Naturalis Museum, Leiden University, the Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences Amsterdam, Milan Design Week, London Design Festival, and Dutch Design Week. In 2024, “Décorps” was acquired by the Centre National des Arts Plastiques (CNAP), France. She holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design and an MA in Material Futures from Central Saint Martins.
