Kostis Stafylakis

Kostis Stafylakis is an artist, theorist, author and curator with a PhD in Political Science. He has taught theory and fine arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts and the University of Patras.

He has co-curated exhibitions such as the 6th Athens Biennale ANTI-, the 4th Athens Biennale AGORA, Weasel Dance at Goethe-Institut Athen, “Twisting C(r)ash” at the Batiment d’Art Contemporain, Geneva. He is currently Artistic Director of ViZ Laboratory for Visual Culture.

He is a member of KavecS and has presented works at the Kultursymposium Weimar (2019), the “Festival of Democracy,” Geneva (2017), “Omonoia” 5th to 6th Athens Biennale, 1st NSK Biennial of Folk Art, Hell as Pavillion at Palais de Tokyo, “Truth is Concrete” at Steirischer Herbst, Graz, 3d Athens Biennale, and Media Impact at the 4th Moscow Biennale.
