Joseph Arzoumanov

Joseph Arzoumanov (b. 2002) is a French artist who combines emerging technologies with traditional crafts such as goldsmithing, gold embroidery, and jewelry making.

A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris and the École Duperré, he recently received the Khalil de Chazournes Prize (2025) and the 2nd Prize at the International Festival of Gold Embroidery and Jewelry in the category “Youngest Talented Gold Embroiderer” (2022).

He has exhibited internationally, notably at the MUCEM in Marseille (2024–2025), the Villa Albertine in New York and Boston (artistic residency, 2024), Homo Faber in Venice (2024), the House of Artisans in Abu Dhabi (artistic residency, 2023), and the Petit Palais in Paris (2022). His latest work, “The Chessboard of Dreams,” is currently presented at the Fondazione Dries Van Noten in Venice.

Arzoumanov has participated in numerous residencies and workshops in France, Armenia, Brazil, India, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
