Giorgos Vourdamis & Roza Prodromou

Giorgos Vourdamis trained at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece and the Contemporary Theatre of Athens. Roza Prodromou studied physical theatre at the University of Huddersfield (UK) and completed an MA in intercultural theatre at the University of Exeter.

Had it not been for their shared love of nature, their paths might never have crossed.

Alongside his work as an actor, Giorgos has worked as an assistant director, production coordinator, and assistant set and lighting designer, and has also taught theater to young people. Roza combines her work as a performer with teaching physical theater to adult participants.

In 2023, they co-founded the theater company Láz-Las as a space to develop their own artistic language and approach to performance-making.

As Láz-Las, they have created “Io: On the Mountain of the Great Gods,” based on a text by Pavlina Marvin and presented at the Sanctuary of the Great Gods, Samothrace Island, and “Nojaveland: A Chamber Western,” based on a text by Giannis Aposkitis and staged at Theatre 104 in Athens. Their next production, “Something Will Happen, You'll See,” is based on Christos Ikonomou’s novel of the same name and is scheduled to premiere at Theseum Theatre during the 2026–2027 season.

A phrase that continues to inform their work is: “If we don't fight for beauty, how will we endure the harshness of this world?"
