Giorgos Tsantirakis
Psychologist of gender-based violence and torture survivors, Diotima Center
Giorgos is a graduate of the postgraduate program in Sociology, University of Crete, on ‘Culture, Power, and Social Inequalities’. In the past has worked with vulnerable social groups, particularly with homeless people in the Municipality of Athens. For the last two years he has been working as a psychologist at the Diotima Center for Gender Rights and Equality, counseling survivors of gender-based violence and torture among the refugee population. Also, he is currently trained in dialectic-systemic approach and psychotherapy at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos.
