Eugenia Vereli

Eugenia Vereli is a visual artist based in Athens. Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, and installation, exploring the fluid nature of identity, memory, and perception through material processes that move between the intimate and the symbolic. Drawing from dreams, mythology, folk culture, literature, poetry, architecture, and spatial memory, she creates works that unfold as affective and psychological environments rather than fixed narratives.

She holds an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art and a BA in Sculpture from the Athens School of Fine Arts. In 2025, she presented her second solo exhibition at the Alekos Fassianos Museum in Athens as part of its Contemporary Intervention Program, and participated in the Thermia Project residency on the island of Kythnos. Her work has been presented at the 7th Athens Biennale “Eclipse” and at the exhibition “Mr Robinson Crusoe Stayed Home” at the Benaki Museum.

Eugenia Vereli is an Onassis AiR Fellow for 2026/27.
