Alex Vicente

Alex Vicente (Barcelona, 1980) is a cultural journalist at the Spanish daily newspaper EL PAÍS. He writes about literature, film, visual arts, music, and the transformations shaping Europe, and conducts in-depth interviews with leading cultural figures. He is currently working on his first book, an essay tracing the recent history of homosexuality, to be published by Anagrama in 2027.

Alex Vicente is an Onassis AiR Fellow for 2026/27.
