The House that became a Home (2019/20)

In September 2019, Onassis AiR, the (inter)national artistic research residency program, was created to house a community of peers from Greece and from abroad, from Delhi to Los Angeles, from Canada to Palestine. To give all artists the space and time they needed in order to reconsider their practice without the constraints of the production frenzy. Today, after six months of inhabiting this space, Onassis AiR, the artistic research residency of the Onassis Foundation, has become a home. The house located at the center of Αthens, below Acropolis, now belongs to more than 30 artists, curators and art practitioners, who between September 2019 and June 2020, are supported through four (4) existing modules: The Critical Practices Program, (Inter)national Artistic & Curatorial Research Program, Exchange Residencies Program, and Emergency Fellowships Program.
