Onassis ONX's inaugural interactive Winter Exhibition
"All Will Be Considered"
The Onassis ONX inaugural Winter Exhibition "All Will Be Considered" draws from the vast talents of the ONX membership, now 50 artists strong.
The title itself comes from the open call provided in November 2023, which reads as follows: “This year’s loose themes include science fiction, identity/otherness, nonhuman subjectivities, and Anthropocene ecologies. All new media work will be considered.”The resulting group show comprises seven works by six Onassis ONX artists and their collaborators whose diverse practices pull on common preoccupations. In these six works, fresh ecologies spawn from AI interventions, unfamiliar topographies emerge from data scraped and degraded. Each of the studio’s major zones will be devoted to a single artist and their collaborators, yet all the installations stand together in a polyphonic hum of new worlds born from old worries.
Participating Artists: Ashley Zelinskie, Bridget DeFranco, Jeremy Kamal, Kevin Peter He, Marc Da Costa, Mark Fingerhut, Matthew Gantt, Miriam Simun, and Peter Burr.
