Video Installation

Description

The work unfolds a world of fantastical creatures that roam through the park, coexisting with the visitors and seamlessly weaving the imaginary with the real. The creatures, initially drawn in ink on paper and later brought to life through digital processing, are projected onto the wall as if emerging from a hidden dimension. They move slowly from one edge to the other, then disappear, following a cyclical rhythm. Each appearance is interrupted by brief pauses, while a distinctive sound composition accompanies their presence, enhancing the sense of dream and mystery.

Inspired by mythological motifs, comics, and manga from European and Japanese visual traditions, the characters redefine the human form. Human figures merge with the shapes of animals or objects, creating hybrid bodies with new roles and symbolism. Through these transformations, the work invites the viewer to reconsider the notion of identity and the image that is shaped both individually and collectively. An audiovisual allegory on identity, transformation, and the fluid nature of the visible world.
