The seasons

In its first concert this season at the Onassis Stegi, the Camerata performs a marathon musical tribute to the seasons.

Performing extrovert Baroque, sensual Romantic and experimental 20th-century compositions that draw their shared inspiration from the eternal cycle of the seasons, and including contemporary works that bear the clear imprint of present-day Pop.

The Camerata on period instruments, the Camerata on modern instruments, eight celebrated composers, four distinguished violinists, the Athens City Choir, no fewer than twelve eminent Greek pianists and the award-winning conductor George Petrou playfully engage with music and nature in an evening full of musical —and other— surprises.
