Lena Kitsopoulou, the director who has no qualms about turning ancient tragedy on its head, who seeks to accommodate comedy inside the human drama, needs just a few minutes to talk about everything. She impulsively and candidly links humor to despair, wonders about the infeasibility of a single truth, shows us the Antigone book she carries around and remembers the Antigone she was taught at school, smiles when she talks about death, explains the connection between abortion on a mountaintop and the Sophoclean tragedy and declares that the difficulty of being an Antigone still applies to the here and now.
