Over the course of a special evening, Daniel Mendelsohn, academic, member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and translator of the entirety of Cavafy’s oeuvre, will engage in conversation about the Alexandrian poet, his manifold, multidimensional work and its continuing relevance, with Dimitris Papanikolaou, Associate Professor of Modern Greek Studies, University of Oxford.
