Vincent Lhermet

Vincent Lhermet graduated from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and is the first accordionist in France that graduated from the doctorate program of the Paris-Sorbonne University and the Paris Conservatoire/Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP).

Enjoying an international career with an eclectic discography and appearances in Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam, Cité de la Musique in Paris, and Carlos Chávez Hall in Mexico, among other, he unfolds his instrument’s full richness of expression, with a repertoire that expands from the Renaissance to our days.

Being a guest of numerous contemporary music festivals in Europe, he collaborates with artists such as the violist Gérard Caussé, the clarinetist Michel Portal, the viola da gamba player Marianne Müller, and the percussionist Françoise Rivalland, whereas he also collaborates with the composers Franck Bedrossian, Tomás Bordalejo, Bernard Cavanna, Frédéric Durieux, Francesco Filidei, Philippe Hersant, Victor Ibarra, Martin Iddon, Martin Matalon, et al. He teaches at the Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne Billancourt and the Lille Music Academy.
