Stefanos Pletsis

Stefanos Pletsis is a director, animator, and illustrator based in Greece, with over a decade of experience in the animation industry. He has worked for animation studios, television networks, and production companies all over the world, including collaborations with leading international studios such as The Line, and has contributed to dozens of award-winning short films and documentaries. He was part of two original children’s series for Greek public broadcaster ERT, “Gegone” and “Mr. Paper,” bringing original animated storytelling to young audiences. Drawn to the power of silence and breathing in cinema, his upcoming short film, currently in development, has won the support of ERT, EKOME, and the Onassis Foundation.

Whether crafting worlds frame by frame or experimenting with new tools and techniques, his work is guided by a restless curiosity and an uncompromising attention to craft.
