Sotiria Smyrnaiou

Sotiria Smyrnaiou (b. 1992, Αthens) is an artist and cultural producer based in Αthens. She holds a BA in Law from National and Kapodistrian University of Αthens (2015) and a MA in Visual Arts from Αthens School of Fine Arts (2022). Her practice includes writing, video and sculptural installations, with an interest in architecture, phenomenology of memory and temporalities.

From 2012 to 2018, she worked for law firms in Αthens with a focus on Administrative Law. Since 2017, she collaborates with FIORE Architects architecture firm as a creative consultant in social, cultural and educational architecture projects. She has been part of Οnassis AiR since 2019, when she completed her internship. Later on, she worked as curatorial assistant for Inés Muñozcano’s project “Eros & Thanatos Real Estate”(2020), as an external collaborator for Pali-Room Podcast (2021) and as Οnassis AiR Production and Administration Officer (2022). She is currently working as the Οnassis AiR Administrator.
