Raphael Schneider

Raphael Schneider is Engineering Manager in the Research & Technology department at the Medtronic Bakken Research Center in Maastricht, The Netherlands. He is leading a team of Software and Biomedical Engineers and Data Scientists. The team is focusing on developing and applying new algorithms and advanced analytic methods to extract meaningful and actionable information from physiological- and medical-device-data. Before working at Medtronic, he worked at the Munich University of Technology with a group of cardiologists on identifying high-risk patients benefitting from an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator. He has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Electrical and Software Engineering, respectively.
