Iris Baglanea
Iris Baglanea is a director and a performer, raised in the Greek island of Corfu. “Zange” is her second short film after “Goads,” which was screened at many festivals worldwide and received various awards. Her first feature film “Sea Urchin,” which is in the stage of development, she received the Onassis Film Award at the 2022 Thessaloniki International Film Festival (Crossroads Co-production Forum). As an artist, she is interested in the liberating power of trauma as a manifestation of human nature and the ways this can be rendered in the moving image.
