Edward George

Edward George is the founder of Black Audio Film Collective and writer/presenter of the groundbreaking science fiction documentary “The Last Angel of History.” His radio series, “The Strangeness of Dub” (Morley Radio) dives into reggae, dub, versions and versioning, drawing on critical theory, social history, and a deep and wide cross-genre musical selection. “The Strangeness of Jazz” (Café Oto) does something similar, but with jazz, and is live. He is in the collaborative modern music group X Ray Hex Tet (Reading Room). Current show: “Listening to D’Angelo— Hearing Voodoo”; forthcoming: “Black Atlas” (Warburg Institute).
